About Jana & Chair Yoga for Seniors

Jana is a yoga and dance teacher. She was dancing all her life and practicing different types of movements. With the aging parts of our body starts working differently, becoming less flexible and less healthy.

Jana is specialized to work with seniors, over 55 years old. She firmly believes that yoga is for everyone. A few years ago she started to teach chair yoga for seniors.

This type of yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced standing using a chair for support or sitting on a chair. The chair yoga poses are adaptations of Hatha Yoga poses or Asanas.
